QSuper is proud to continue our support of the Premier's Reading Challenge in 2020. Now, more than ever, we want to encourage a love of reading in our Queensland kids. We have a fantastic opportunity for two schools to win a full day visit from author, Brian Falkner.
Brian will deliver a full day of workshops or talks to the winning schools, which can be chosen to suit the needs of your students.
There are also eight $500 book voucher prizes to be won.
Last year's winners of the major prize were Greenslopes State School and Toowoomba East State School whose students loved the opportunity to participate in creative writing workshops.

Queensland Ballet workshops
Queensland Ballet visited kindergartens and childcare centres across Brisbane to share the wonder of storytelling and movement, through delightful play-based workshops as part of the 2019 Premier’s Reading Challenge.
Held during Book Week from 12-23 August 2019, these interactive workshops for 2 to 5 year old’s brought stories to life from the Premier’s Reading Challenge early childhood book list, igniting imaginations and inspiring a passion for reading and dance.
Queensland Ballet will be delivering these workshops again later in the year. More information and how to register for the 2020 workshops will be released once available.
Schools, early childhood centres and parents of individual readers are encouraged to celebrate reading achievements by holding classroom, school or home celebrations during the Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC) celebration weeks, from 2 to 13 November 2020.
Schools and early childhood centres can invite their local Member of Parliament to participate in their celebration events by presenting certificates to students.
For participants who complete the challenge, certificates of achievement signed by the Premier are mailed to schools, early childhood centres and homes in October in time to be presented during the PRC celebration weeks.
A certificate of participation will be available to reward participants for their reading achievements, even if they did not complete the challenge.
