QSuper competition
Congratulations to Robina State High School and Fitzgerald State School who are the lucky winners of the
QSuper competition!
Brian Falkner will deliver a full day of workshops or talks to both schools, tailored to suit the needs of the students.
QSuper is proud to continue their support of the Premier's Reading Challenge in 2020.
Queensland Ballet workshops
Queensland Ballet visited kindergartens and childcare centres across Brisbane to share the wonder of storytelling and movement through delightful play-based workshops.
Queensland Ballet engaged more than 844 children throughout 42 workshops between 17–28 August, bringing stories from the Premier's Reading Challenge 2020 early childhood book list to life.
Celebration Weeks
Schools, early childhood centres and parents of individual readers are encouraged to celebrate reading achievements by holding classroom, school or home celebrations during the Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC) celebration weeks from 2 to 13 November 2020.
Schools and early childhood centres can invite their local Member of Parliament to participate in their celebration events by presenting certificates to students.
Certificates
For participants who complete the challenge, certificates of achievement signed by the Premier are mailed to schools, early childhood centres and homes in October in time to be presented during the PRC celebration weeks.
A
certificate of participation (DOCX, 2MB) is available to reward participants for their reading achievements if they did not complete the challenge.
